Laura is a chemist who earned her Ph.D. degree from the University of Birmingham. Her thesis centred on the development of surface-confined fluorescence sensors for detecting saccharides.

Currently, she works as a research fellow at some University, contributing to several company-funded projects in areas such as homecare, beauty care, and surface cleaning applications.

She has joined STLE UK since the first recruitment, serving as a social media representative to connect with the community, promote events and activities, and share news.
