James has been working at Phoenix Tribology for over 15 years, also serving as a director for the past year. He has a wide breadth of working knowledge in the field of tribology, working closely with many clients on solving, designing and building tribo-testing rigs to help meet their testing needs.

Since 2024, James has been the Industrial Representative at STLE UK Student Chapter, working on bridging the communication and collaboration between STLE UK Student Chapter and industry.
